At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture.SummaryCHS is looking for a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to join our team in Corson!This is a hybrid position, meaninig about 50% of the work will be delivering product to local customers in the area, and 50% will be working operations work at the site. Work will vary and fluctuate depending on time of year.A class A CDL is required for this position, and the driver must be able and comfortable operating manual vehicles.Join our team today!ResponsibilitiesCarry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently. Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading. Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment. Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks. Monitor and maintain inventory quality. Deliver products safely and professionally. Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance. Report safety or customer issues promptly. Maintain strong safety culture.Perform other assigned dutiesMinimum Qualifications (required)1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations Must meet minimum age requirement Ability to read, write and communicate in English Additional QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED preferred Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred Valid Class A CDL preferred Agriculture background preferred Customer service experience preferred Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 75 lbs Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperaturesCHS offers a competitive total rewards package.
