Industrial Electrician – Journeyman

Location: Oklahoma City, OK Area
Pay: $30.00–$45.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time; Home most evenings
License: Journeyman Electrician License/Card required

Inframark is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician – Journeyman in the Oklahoma City, OK area to support the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, equipment, and facilities.

This is a hands-on electrical maintenance role focused on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, electrical repairs, equipment installation, and emergency response . The ideal candidate has experience working with industrial electrical systems, motors, motor controls, wiring, control systems, and facility equipment and is comfortable diagnosing electrical problems independently. Candidates with significant industry experience may qualify for a higher starting rate.

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician , you will troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install electrical systems and equipment supporting facility operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
• Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, wiring, control circuits, and related electrical equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components, wiring, controls, panels, and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine appropriate corrective action
• Maintain and troubleshoot automatic dialers and other critical facility equipment
• Assist with electrical equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades
• Inspect electrical equipment and identify potential problems before failures occur
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, vehicles, and facility systems
• Respond to equipment failures, emergency call-outs, and operational issues to help restore service
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and other documentation using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
• Follow all company, OSHA, environmental, and site-specific safety procedures
• Participate in weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and on-call coverage as required

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician card/license or equivalent state-recognized credential
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Ability to diagnose electrical problems and perform repairs safely
• Ability to read and follow electrical diagrams, equipment manuals, operating instructions, and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to use computers and computerized maintenance management systems
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Experience with single-phase and three-phase motors
• Experience with motor controls and electrical control systems
• Experience with pumps, motors, and other industrial equipment
• Experience with VFDs, MCCs, PLCs, or SCADA systems
• Experience with automatic dialers or telemetry equipment
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment facilities
• Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing
• Experience in utilities or public infrastructure
• Class B CDL
• Additional electrical, instrumentation, or controls certifications

This is an active, hands-on industrial position. Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Work in and access confined spaces
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical maintenance activities
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Safely work around electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and active facility operations
